Justin Timberlake kept his promise - and so did his "Friends with Benefits" co-star, Mila Kunis.
Mila accompanied Sgt. Scott Moore to the Marine Corps Ball on Friday night in Greenville, North Carolina, a spokesperson for the Marine Corps confirmed to Access Hollywood .
"Everything went well. It was a great experience for everybody," spokesperson Capt. Scott Sasser told Access .
According to several local news reports in Greenville, the actress arrived into the Pitt-Greenville Airport around 2:30 PM local time on Friday and was quickly whisked to the Greenville Convention Center, the site of the ball.
Local news station WNCT was able to capture a brief shot of Mila arriving to the venue before disappearing inside.
No media were allowed inside the event, however Capt. Sasser did release two photos from inside, taken by a fellow Marine.

Making Flags (“Blood and War At My Doorstep, North Carolina Civilians in the War Between the States.)
North Carolina War Between the States Sesquicentennialwww.ncwbts150.com"The Official Website of the North Carolina WBTS Sesquicentennial Commission"
Newly added to our website is “Regimental Flags From Ladies Hands,” an interesting and detailed glimpse of the making of regimental flags for North Carolina troops in early 1861. The page is an adaptation of Chapter 2, Volume 1, “Making Flags” – from Brenda Chambers McKean’s new book, “Blood and War At My Doorstep, North Carolina Civilians in the War Between the States. The two-volume set can be ordered from the website below, or directly from the author at: Brenda McKean, 125 Fork Junction Road, Timberlake, NC 27583.
“Making Flags” (excerpt):
“A flag presentation from the ladies of Washington to the Jeff Davis Rifles, captained by J.R. Corner, June 21, 1861, was featured in the newspaper:
It is our pleasant duty to present you and your gallant company with the accompanying flag. The ladies of [Little] Washington have made it for you. With every stitch has been
woven[,] thought of the gallant men who are so soon to risk their lives in our defense, perchance some silent tears have spoken of feelings too deep for utterance, but think
not, our tears flow from any cowardly wish to withdraw those we love from this glorious contest. Not so, our hearts may be wrung with sorrow but the ladies of Washington,
believing that their cause is a righteous one, and trusting in God for his aid and protection, would urge you on, by every call of honor or duty, by every tender tie, by your duty
to God and to your country, by your love for your mothers, wives, and children, to protect our homes and our rights. We do not say, "Protect our flag, let it not be disgraced":
we have no fear for that; in giving it to you, we know that it will be preserved with honor, and we look forward with pleasure to (we hope) the not too far distant day, when
you will return to us, and we only claim the privilege of wreathing it with laurels which we know you will win for it.
And now in bidding you farewell, we would pray that The Lord of Hosts be “round about you as a wall of fire, and shield your heads in the day of battle.” In behalf of the ladies of Washington: Mrs. T.H.B. Myers, Miss Annie C. Hoyt, Miss M.M. Fowle. This particular flag was made from the satin wedding gown of Mrs. Myers.”

"Reminiscences Of The Civil War", (Chapter I)
By John B. Gordon, Maj. Gen. CSA
Looking In The Mirror
For anyone interested in the Southern point of view with regards to the Civil War, this is a great place to visit.
From a Southern soldier;
I apprehend that if all living Union soldiers were summoned to the witness stand, every one of them would testify that it was the preservation of the American Union and not the destruction of Southern slavery that induced him to volunteer at the call of his country. As for the South, it is enough to say that perhaps eighty per cent. of her armies were neither slave-holders, nor had the remotest interest in the institution. No other proof, however, is needed than the undeniable fact that at any period of the war from its beginning to near its close the South could have saved slavery by simply laying down its arms and returning to the Union.
Seems to be a lot of talk and imo, a revision of history in the man Abraham Lincoln.
Anyone truly interested in hearing from both sides ought to take time and listen to a Southern soldiers perspective of how it really was.
Very few places offer this view of history.
And that is sad.
Igorance is truly dangerous.
On November 18th, 2011, Muslims held a rally in New York City. The point of the rally was supposedly to protest the NYPD's surveillance of the Muslim community. As the rally progressed, however, Muslim leaders acknowledged that they share the goals of the Occupy Wall Street Movement, especially seizing and redistributing wealth. Indeed, Muslims claimed that the redistribution of wealth is commanded by Allah.
Sen. John F. Kerry (D-Mass.) said Republicans had blocked the so-called Super Committee’s work by demanding an extension of Bush-era tax cuts and refusing to consider significant tax increases on wealthier people. “To have something on the table that does not ask the wealthiest people in the country to share (the burden) … is unconscionable,” Kerry said. Let’s look at the facts in this calculation by Ben Shapiro:
The top 1% of income earners in the United States pull down at least $344,000 in adjusted gross income every year, earn just under 17% of the total income of the country, and pay almost 37% of all taxes. The top 5% of income earners make at least $155,000 and pay 59% of all taxes. The top 10% of income earners make at least $112,000 and pay over 70% of all taxes. . . . 53% of Americans pay taxes and the rest don’t — although they tend to vote for higher taxes on those who do pay.
Kerry, who is a Democrat member of the Super Committee, has no problem with raising taxes since he’s already a multimillionaire, and the majority of people who keep him in office don’t pay federal income taxes. Of course, when he can avoid taxes, he does it in a grand way:
He is docking his family’s new $7 million yacht in Rhode Island, not Massachusetts, so he can save $500,000 in Bay State taxes. If the boat were docked at his summer vacation home on Nantucket, he would have to fork over $437,000 in a one-time sales tax and $70,000 in annual excise taxes. This tax saving is not absurd in Kerry’s mind. It is Tea Parties who should be censored by the media, he says, because they also aren’t “factual.”
Kerry married Teresa Heinz, the widow of Pennsylvania Senator H. John Heinz III, a Republican from Pennsylvania who died when a helicopter collided with his plane in 1991. As far back as 2004, the Los Angeles Times put Teresa Heinz’s wealth at between $900 million and $3.2 billion. Even without his wife’s inherited money, Kerry is wealthy in his own name, being the beneficiary of at least four trusts inherited from Forbes family members, including his mother, who died in 2002. Kerry is the wealthiest U.S. Senator. In 2006, his own wealth was estimated at $267,789,805.
Like all dictators, Kerry lives far above the people in wealth and status. He dictates austerity to everyone else, but maintains a standard of living that far exceeds 99.9 percent of all the people in the world. He has a lust for power and will do almost anything to maintain it, even if it means taxing more Americans and using his government position to time certain stock trades.
Sen. John Kerry’s position on the powerful Senate Finance Committee’s Health Subcommittee gives him direct access to critical information regarding health care policy. In July 2009, pharmaceutical industry representatives met with key members of Congress to flesh out the Obamacare bill. Then, in November 2009, with the bill’s passage was looking more likely, the Kerrys’ portfolios reflect a drug stock buying spree.
Kerry doesn’t see a problem in doing this since he views himself as part of the elite, a “Philosopher King” who does not have to live by the rules that he makes for “average” people. Kerry makes the rules for the rest of us to live by while he and his other liberal cronies live above them. Of course, there are Republicans who are equally guilty but they have better sense by keeping their hypocritical mouths shut.
In his book Throw Them All Out, Peter Schweizer “contends that Sen. Kerry is no stranger to making huge profits off of health care-related trading based on his rare access to information. ‘Some of [Kerry’s] biggest scores were tied to his knowledge of obscure matters that had huge ramifications for certain companies.’”
Martha Stewart went to jail for insider training. Maybe John Kerry should do a little time so he can gain some appreciation on how the 99.9 percent live.
Commenting on the presidential election of 1864, Lincoln’s Assistant Secretary of War, Charles A. Dana stated that the whole power of the War Department was used to secure Lincoln’s reelection. Dana was in earlier days a Brook Farm socialist, and while employed by Horace Greeley’s prewar New York Tribune contracted with Karl Marx to write a weekly column on his radical social views. It was Dana who ordered the imprisoned Jefferson Davis to be manacled in irons.========

Lincoln’s Reelection Fix:
“During the fall of 1864 it became evident that Pennsylvania was a “doubtful” State. Gen. McClellan, the candidate of the Democratic party, was not only popular there as a native Pennsylvanian, but, even among those loyal to the administration, he had a strong following and great sympathy, from the belief that he had been a much abused man.
Lincoln was advised by the Republican State Committee of Pennsylvania that the prospect was very uncertain. It was felt that, on the result of the Keystone State, hinged the fate of the national election. A gentleman belonging to the Republican Committee then, as now, one of the leading politicians of the State, had a consultation with the President on the situation. He thus relates the interview:
“Mr. President,” I said, “the only sure way to organize victory in this contest, is to have some fifteen thousand, or more, Pennsylvania soldiers furloughed and sent home to vote. While their votes in the field would count man for man, their presence at the polls at home would exert an influence not easily to be estimated, by exciting enthusiasm and building up party moral[e]. I would advise you to send a private message to Gen. Grant, to be given in an unofficial way, asking for such issuance of furloughs to Pennsylvania soldiers in the field.”
Lincoln was silent for some moments and seemed to be pondering. Then he answered: “I have never had any intimation from Gen. Grant as to his feelings for me. I don’t know how far he would be disposed to be my friend in the matter, nor do I think it would be safe to trust him.”
The President’s interlocutor responded…”Then, let it be done through Gen. [George] Meade, the direct commander of the Army of the Potomac – and Gen. [Philip] Sheridan, how about him?” At this question, Lincoln’s face grew sunny and bright. “I can trust Phil.” He said; “he’s all right!”
As a result of this conference, one of the assistant secretaries of war was sent to Petersburg with a strictly unofficial message to Gen. Meade, and another agent was deputed to visit Gen. Sheridan. Some 10,000 or more Pennsylvania soldiers went home to vote when the time came, and Pennsylvania was carried by a handsome majority for the [Lincoln] administration.”

Lincoln’s Reelection Fix
The United States needs to restore the basic principles of the Founding Fathers and President Ronald Reagan’s small-government ideals to pull itself out of its quagmire of inefficiency, stagnation, and corruption, political analyst John Fund tells Newsmax.TV.
And the founders would have would have been appalled at the idea of appointing a supercommittee to solve the country’s economic morass, said Fund, who likened the panel to a “committee dictatorship.”
The supercommittee, which is struggling with the dismal prospect of creating a plan to cut $1.2 trillion by Thanksgiving eve, is an ill-advised attempt at a solution, he said.
“I think the supercommittee was a mistake, for two reasons: One is I think it’s an abrogation of Congress’s responsibility to make these decisions by itself,” the former Wall Street Journal columnist said in the exclusive interview with Newsmax.
In addition, he said, the Founding Fathers didn’t intend for such a move, in which 535 politicians have delegated their power to a committee of 12.
Appallingly, many of the authoritarian statists who have been eating away like termites at our republic swear oaths to uphold the very document that serves as its foundation. Wouldn’t it be nice if statist politicians paid a price for this betrayal? They will be — if the Oath Accountability Act becomes law. The Essential Liberty Project explains the purpose:
To restore the Constitution’s strict enumeration of the central government’s “few and defined powers,” we must, first and foremost, require that all members of the Executive, Legislative and Judicial branches abide by their oaths “to support and defend” our Constitution — under penalty of law. At present, there is no legal penalty for Breach of Oath or legal obligation to abide by the plain language of our Constitution.
Please help us enact, through judicial or legislative action, strong penalties obligating all elected and appointed federal officials to abide by their oaths. If the federal judiciary refuses to hear this action, then we will take it to the national legislature for codification into federal law. In the words of Thomas Jefferson, “Bind [them] down from mischief by the chains of the Constitution.”
Sign the petition if you like the idea.
Many of us in the Law Enforcement community are extremely troubled by the sealing of the Terry prosecution. As we all know, there is very little in the L.E. World which is truly sensitive or classified. No we DO NOT want to give away trade craft. No we DO NOT WANT to give away investigative strategies. However, when the government witholds information related to an extremely controversial and questionable investigation which has resulted in so many abuses and deaths, it is clear that its sealing can only be to secret such abuses. I have not been able to find anyone in Law Enforcement who has seen such an action in their entire career.
That may explain the motivation for the following open letter generated by Congressman (Ret.) James Lightfoot. Countless Congressman, Senators and respected Law Enforcement Officials nation wide, can't all be wrong.

Peck Canyon is a hotbed for illegal drugs and a battleground between illegals coming from Mexico fighting amongst themselves and the US Border Patrol. At 11:15 PM the night of December 14, 2010 the Border Patrol is watching a “rip crew”, (illegals that prey on other illegals moving drugs into the US). The illegal rip crew was in a position to ambush anyone coming up the canyon.
Border Patrol agents commanded the illegals to drop their weapons. When they did not, the Patrol fired at them with beanbags as required by engagement protocol. The illegals fired back with AK-47s and real bullets.
Two agents then responded with one long gun and one pistol.
When the firefight was over, Border Patrol Agent Brian Terry was dead. An AK-47 bullet had entered his back some 29 inches below the shoulder.
One of the rip crew was wounded. There were no other injuries.
At the scene were three AK-47 rifles, all part of the 2,000 plus guns that the Department of Alcohol Tobacco and Firearms (ATF) under the Department of Justice (DOJ) had allowed to “walk” into Mexico.
Today, one of those rifles is missing; picked up by the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) to protect a “CI” (confidential informant) the agency is working.
A bright, respected, dedicated, well-trained young man, a United States Federal Law Enforcement Agent, dead at the hands of illegal Mexicans using rifles supplied by our own DOJ through ATF.
Do you see anything wrong with this picture?
So much is wrong that it almost defies speech. Everything about this situation rubs against every principle, tenet, belief, ideology or standard that this country stands for.
And, much of what the DOJ and ATF has done and continues to do is in defiance of the law.
Operation Fast and Furious put those weapons in the hands of the Mexican Drug Cartels, deliberately. It was no accident. It was by design.
William Newell, special agent in charge of the Phoenix field office of ATF and William McMahon, the head of western field operations for ATF are the architects of Fast and Furious. They both gave misleading and incomplete information to a Congressional Oversight Committee.
Attorney General Eric Holder has stonewalled the committee to the point he could probably get a job as a stone mason when he finally leaves government.
As a reward for their misleading testimony Newell and McMahon were whisked into ATF headquarters fortress on New York Avenue in Washington, DC to protect them and their pensions.
The number of Members of Congress calling for Holder to resign grows each day. However, this is the wrong direction for this investigation to go. Once Holder resigns with all his government pensions and benefits, he is off the hook.
Holder is one fish where the hook needs to be set, he must be indicted and Newell, McMahon and several others should join him in a courtroom defending his use of a Federal Agency to promote this Administration’s anti-gun agenda while breaking US law in the process.
Foolishness that has gotten two US Federal Agents killed and countless hundreds of innocent Mexican citizens killed and wounded.
Congress, show us you really mean to uphold the Constitution you swore to protect.
Indict these people now.
Larry Elder Hammers Chris Matthews in Agonizing Interview: ‘I’m Sorry For Cutting You Off the Way You Cut Your Guests Off’
This time the tables were turned on MSNBC host Chris Matthews when he appeared as a guest Tuesday on Larry Elder’s radio show to promote his new book, “Jack Kennedy: Elusive Hero.” Elder, however, wasn‘t impressed by Matthews’ apparent beatification of Kennedy in the book. At one point during the interview, Elder asked if Matthews thinks his job as a journalist is to “help Obama succeed,” and later interrupted the Hardball host in the same manner he cuts his own guests off everyday.
The Hollywood Reporter brings us some of Elders thoughts when the radio host wrote about the interview on his blog Thursday:
“You know things didn’t go well when, a few minutes after the interview concludes, Matthews’ booker emails my producer,” Elder wrote Thursday.
The email read: “I wish you would’ve let me know that Larry was planning on attacking Chris. Chris is always up for a good, healthy debate, but that was really not professional or cool.”
A top House Republican is threatening to enforce a subpoena for criminal immigrant information "to the fullest extent" of the law, after claiming the Obama administration "stonewalled" his request.
House Judiciary Committee Chairman Lamar Smith for months has been seeking a comprehensive list of names and other information for the thousands of immigrants who are flagged, but not taken into custody or deported through a program known as Secure Communities.
Earlier this month, a subcommittee on his panel subpoenaed the Department of Homeland Security for the information, claiming it was "not acting in good faith." It was the first subpoena issued by the committee since it came under GOP control.
The department ended up turning over documents by a Nov. 10 deadline -- but Smith claimed all he received was a list of numbers.
"Instead of providing this information, all DHS gave was a list numbered 1 through 220,995. Proving the administration can count is not what we asked for," Smith said in a statement.
He wrote a letter to Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano on Friday urging her to "immediately comply" with the subpoena.
"If you do not, the committee will be forced to seek enforcement of the subpoena to the fullest extent allowed by the law," Smith wrote.
