REWARD!

Quote via Survival

The Decline Of American Culture

JADED HAVEN
VERBATIM POST
=====================
Priceless!

We had a twelve-year-old, red-headed boy visit us yesterday who had never eaten Twinkie in his entire, short life.

That’s just wrong.

Of course, we corrected that deficiency post-haste.

He declared the Twinkie delicious and promptly ate another.

I’m fully expecting his organic granola bar mom to drop a sarcastic shame scold the next time we talk.

Remain in the Union to Perpetuate Slavery

Lincoln made it clear that he intended to wage war against the American South to maintain a territorial union of States, and without regard for consent of the governed. He informed newspaperman Horace Greeley early in the war that “My paramount object is to save the Union and not either to save or destroy slavery. If I could save the Union without freeing any slaves I would do it…”

Remain in the Union to Perpetuate Slavery

“…[I]t is almost universally assumed as a fact that the war was waged by the Federal Government for the overthrow of African slavery, and by the South for the maintenance of that institution. [I]t is easy to show that it did not make war to emancipate the slaves, but that it liberated the slaves to help it to make war.

For the proclamation came at a time when the Federal army that had besieged Richmond in the beginning of 1862 had barely saved Washington from the grasp of the half-starved, half-naked soldiers of the Confederacy. It was issued when those soldiers stood on the frontier of Virginia, challenging their adversaries to try again the issue left undetermined on the bloody field of Sharpsburg. It came at a time when the Federal plan of campaign in Virginia for 1862 had failed, shattered at Manassas, shattered at Sharpsburg, and if there be not about it a painful suggestion of servile war as a possible aid to the restoration of Federal authority over the South, it is clear in the announcement that if the South could escape the threatened emancipation of the slaves, and all the consequences of that measure, by returning to the Union.

Emancipation, therefore, was used as a threat to the States that should continue to resist the Federal arms after the 1st day of January, 1863, and protection to slavery by the Federal Government was the reward promised to such States as should cease to resist.”

Russell Means Still Living–A few more months?

Russell Means, at 72, diagnosed with esophagal cancer, in an historic interview with Hadassah Broscova, Carpe Articulum.

(An absolutely must see, as the same methods used to degrade our American Indians are being used to denigrate of our Confederate and Revolutionary ancestors.)

A powerful interview covering his life's work, world views, and dying of cancer... a deep introspective and intimate journey through what makes Russell Means tick. He is a powerful, pivotal figure and one of the only international spokespersons championing the plight of the Native American Indian and other indigenous tribes worldwide. To lose him would be a devastating blow as he has given his life to raising awareness and fighting for the rights of oppressed persons everywhere, calling specific attention to over 155 years of broken treaties with the Native American Peoples.

To help with his cancer treatments, please donate via www.RussellMeans.com His beautiful wife Pearl Means is a pillar of strength in these difficult times. This is a rare privilege to see her speaking openly. We hope this is not the last interview he is able to give. They have given him three months to live. May all health return to him soon...

For more information on the International Literary Magazine, Carpe Articulum Literary Review, Journal of the Stars, or the Editor-in-Chief Hadassah Broscova, see www.CarpeArticulum.com This video copyright (c) 2011 Carpe Articulum Foundation/Carpe Articulum Literary Review

========================================
Russell Means has not yet passed from this world. Earlier reports of his imminent death were somewhat exaggerated. However, he does have terminal cancer (of the throat–of the esophagus specifically), and has been given but a few months to live. He is experimenting with alternative treatment, natural remedies, and Indian ways of healing.

He was interviewed recently by Hadassah Broscova, editor of the elite international literary magazine, Carpe Articulum</em>. This exclusive interview may be one of the very last professional interviews of any magnitude. It provided a very rare opportunity for Means to present his life in the most positive way, without opposition, interruption, or contradiction. Ms. Broscova alone could offer such an opportunity for Means, and for the world to hear his story, from his point of view. Ms. Broscova has a very special disposition of love and respect for human dignity, and because of her embrace of the world, someone like Russell Means is given the very finest hour in which to speak. (Would that all had such a Broscovan moment.)

Broscova/Means, Part I

Broscova/Means, Part II

BadEagle.com will nevertheless offer a series of commentaries on this historic interview, beginning with this current article. We will comment on various topics addressed in the interview, and hopefully, all will be seen in the full, objective dimensions of political reality, diverse as this may seem from the views Mr. Means presents. Mr. Means has obviously been a long time media presence, creating and shaping the modern stereotype of the American Indian protester. The truth his, however, he has never been a tribal leader, and, like so many other professional Indian “activists,” he has not been supported by the body of Indian people, that of his own tribe, or of Indians in general. Instead, he has been an innovator, or an experimenter, trying to create new paths for improvement in Indian life. His support has been chiefly from non-Indian people–usually Left, Liberal, Democrat people. Be that as it may, he has remained open minded in his approaches, with or without support, and regardless of party. This is the man, never mind the political label, or financial backing. The man is a creative trail-blazer.

Don Vito Corleone, Friendship and the American Regime

Via Ryan

by Paul Rahe

The opening scene of Francis Ford Coppola's classic film The Godfather is justly famous, but unjustly neglected for what is tell us about the kind of political society in which we live. Connie, the daughter of Mafia Don Vito Corleone, has just been married, and a celebration is taking place in the ample backyard of her parents' Long Island home. Inside the home, her father is doing business, conferring with a series of visitors who have come to ask for his help. They know that a Sicilian can deny no one's request on the day his daughter is married. In any case, Connie's father is known to be a generous man. As Mario Puzo puts it in the book that inspired the film:

Don Vito Corleone was a man to whom everybody came for help, and never were disappointed. He made no empty promises, nor the craven excuse that his hands were tied by more powerful forces in the world than himself. It was not necessary that he be your friend, it was not even important that you had no means with which to repay him. Only one thing was required. That you, you yourself proclaim your friendship. And then, no matter how poor or powerless the supplicant, Don Corleone would take that man's troubles to his heart. And he would let nothing stand in the way of a solution to that man's woe. His reward? Friendship, the respectful title of "Don," and sometimes the more affectionate salutation of "Godfather." And perhaps, to show respect only, never for profit, some humble gift—a handmade wine or a basket of peppered tralles specially bake to grace his Christmas table. It was understood, it was mere good manners, to proclaim that you were in his debt and that he had the right to call upon you at any time to redeem your debt by some small service.

Among Don Corleone's visitors is an undertaker whom the Don greets with a marked lack of enthusiasm. He is at the wedding because his wife is a close friend of Don Corleone's spouse; Mrs. Corleone is, in fact, godmother to their daughter. But the two men do not share the affection that unites their wives.

The undertaker has a story to tell.

Democrat 2012 Campaign Will Wage A War Against Whites and Christians

Upon listening to the media sycophants for Obama and his drones, they often use those three demonizations together to form a single charge; White Christian Conservatives are ‘dangerous racist terrorists’. Democrats in office are willing to go so far to accuse them of wanting to kill blacks and hang them from trees ........

This is the narrative I have been warning is the campaign strategy coming down from Obama himself and the Marxist Machine the Democrat Party has been transformed into. Not just a race war, but a religious war against biblical Christians who see their values as part of their individual civic responsibilities. Of course the mainstream anti-God press is only too happy to assist in stoking the effort to wage a race, class and religious war on a people they and the Left think are ‘easy targets’, being too soft and restricted by their religion to fight back. While those who might be willing to defend themselves and their faith, are cowed or shamed into silence by accusations that they are violent racists and extremists.

That the Left hates Christian Conservatives is no secret. What is new is the brazen efforts to paint Christians as dangerous to the security of the country. You cannot use terrorists and Muslims in the same sentence in the Obama White House, or assert that Islam seeks to dominate and impose Sharia Law – but you can accuse Christian Conservatives with being terrorists attempting to subjugate the country and impose a ‘puritanical hell’ or a ‘theocracy’ ala the Taliban. In fact they have even used the term to describe Christians who are proud of their faith or whom defend it as ‘The Christian Taliban’.

NY Times: Don’t Fear Sharia Law In America

But Fear Biblical Christianity – Because Conservative Christians Want a Puritanical Theocracy And Are Worse Than The Taliban

Not even going to excerpt this piece of excrement from the Times. The NYT once again proves it is the newspaper of choice for bird cage lining and not fit for anything else.

Of note is that Mr. Stern demonstrates he is an ignorant imbecile of Sharia and has absolutely no understanding or clue about what Sharia Law actually is and what it does, what it mandates and how it is enforced.

Or – he’s an advocate of Sharia disguising himself as a concerned Jew.

Another Useful Idiot for Jihadist Islam.

Far-right group clashes with police in London

  • Members of the right-wing EDL (English Defence League) scuffle with police as they take part in a protest in Tower Hamlets, east London. Police said they arrested 60 people after scuffles broke out and firecrackers were thrown by the crowd of more than 1,000 activists from the English Defence League

Members of a far-right group clashed with police at a rally in London, despite a government ban on marches imposed after deadly riots that rocked the country last month.

Police said they arrested 60 people after scuffles broke out and firecrackers were thrown by the crowd of more than 1,000 activists from the English Defence League.

EDL leader Stephen Lennon addressed the crowd in Aldgate, east London, saying he had defied bail conditions imposed for an earlier football hooliganism offence in order to appear at the rally.

"I'm meant to sign on at a police station on a Saturday, I'm not doing that ... The credible outcome is I will be put on remand in prison for my democratic right," Lennon said.

"That's what's going to happen and when I go to court, if they let me out of court with any bail conditions that restrict my democratic right to oppose militant Islam, I will break them the minute I walk out."

Project Kleinrock

Via Survival

Following are the details of a project to create a completely autonomous "second layer" of the Internet, completely free of the influence of or need for Internet Service Providers, and untouchable by the government. This plan is named after Leonard Kleinrock, inventor of the Internet Packet. It has been enacted after news of a bill entering the United States Senate which would allow a President to disable all Internet connectivity within the United States. (We later heard that this bill doesn't do quite that, but that the President has had the power to shut down any telecommunications network (as defined by the FCC) for over 70 years.)
