It has come to our attention that this video was originally published in August of this year, thus is not a reflection of OccupyProtests currently taking place in New York and the rest of the U.S. We apologize to our readers for the mistake and inconvenience. While not exactly timely, the video nonetheless reflects what we believe will be the response by police departments the country over if bank runs were to become reality.

  1. Unfortunately there is fine print that limits how much money you can withdraw at one time and how fast. At the end of May I took all my money out of BoA but I did so via ATMs and drive through windows a total of about $20,000. Interestingly other than the daily ATM limits there were apparently no flags triggered by taking a couple thousand a day out for two weeks tho they did charge basically a fine for violating the terms of our agreement. I took this action so the Bolsheviks couldn't take my money and because I've taken a short position on civilization. Unfortunately most of that money's gone squandered on food and shelter.

I'm a little skeptical of the gentleman's accusation of BoA being connected to payday loan companies but you never know. Ironically I think the $5 a month fee on debit card purchases is more fair than the swipe fees. While the swipe fees were contractual deal between two business enterprises those who got a weeks money from their ATM were in effect subsidising those who would eschew cash, eliminating cash transactions in favor of all electronic ones is a potential threat to freedom.
