Wrong. You DO NOT make sure the chamber is empty with the magazine still in the weapon (and then attempt to dry fire it!!)! Stupid!
That advice could very well get some killed. In fact, that technique most definitely has resulted in negligent discharges that have had people injured or killed.
Stupid. You ALWAYS drop the magazine first. Always.
I think she called the magazine a clip, but I really can't remember! My Glock Armorer class was not like this!
